  • The landscape shows us a desertic area . The place is without vegetation and without habitants. The desert is a warm area.
The dotted line represents the frontiers between the USA and Mexico. In fact what is missing in this humoristic drawing is the guard's patrol and the border barriers too.
c)The man who is wearing the amercan's frag hat represents the symbol of the USA.
    d) The two men in the right side are two mexican's immigrants.
    e) The  billboards show inflation and layoffs. They are replacing the border hence.

    2) Obviously, mexicans leave their country to live a better life in the USA.  Here, the american's man  focuses on the fact that americans don't need  border fence but just economics charts ( inflation, layoffs etc...).
I n the other side, the two mexicans who are coming to cross the line for a better life are stopped by what is written on the billboards. They want to go back because the promised land of the USA is over . The economic charts shows inflation layoffs and what is humoristic here is even mexicans don't want to come in America due to the economic crisis.

    3) The title of this political catoon is : " Is the grass really greener"  in fact is a metaphore which make reference to a better life or rather questionning if in the dotted line life is better than in Mexico. The green contrastes with the desert land of Mexico boundary.
