In the USA, since 1906,all  the inhabitants of Kaplan (Louisiana) are celebrating what they call the "Bastille day". They're coming from the ancesters of Acadiens and even if they aren't , they celebrate this day every year. The 14 Juillet is called "Bastille Day" by all english spoken people. Maybe, that's easier for them
