should parentsgive their children enough pocket money? why? why not?

I think parents should give pocket money to children because it might need to get a bite to eat with friends, having to buy the lipstick or makeup, or having to go to the doctor alone.
I also think parents give pocket money to their children when their children have good grades to prove their need to work to get what you want.
But I also think that parents should not give them money because most children need some pocket money to buy drugs, cigarettes or other addictions.
