Fort-Alamo siege is the main event of Texas republic's independent war a symbol of the desperate resitance, and a significant moment in the United State's expansion during the 18th century. The mission of the Alamo sas built by the spanish in the 18th century. It's goal was to educate the Indians and convert them To catholicism, the religion of the spanish Empire. Mexico became indenpent in 1810, and a few year later, Texas wanted the same. After the siege of 12 days the médical troops commanded vu general Antonio López de Santa Anna against the Alamo mission. All the visible cruelty of Santa Anna during the battle urged numerous colonists and American adventurers to join the Texan army pushed by the disire to take their revenge, Texans beat the army of San Jacinto on April 21st, 1836 which ended the revolution. Santa Anna asked for the immediate execution of the survivors in the weeks which followed, rumors moved forward that Crockett was a part of the soldiers having gone while he had died in the office of Fort-Alamo.Davy or David Crockett, some believed that je died in combat while others believed that he had been captured and excuted according to the law. Davy is still considered of martyr for the cause and spirit of the United States. Alamo is the most touristic site of Texas today ?
